Kenn has served clients in public accounting for over 40 years.  He has been a sole practitioner, a director, and a partner in New York Metropolitan CPA firms.  His diverse experience includes audit clients, closely held businesses, real estate entities, manufacturing companies, service industries, and many other entities.  He is currently Director at Cullari, Carrico LLC, a regional CPA firm in Northern New Jersey.

For over 35 years, Kenn taught all areas in CPA review for the Becker CPA Review Course.  He is nationally known as an exam specialist and knowledgeable in all areas of accounting.  In addition to being an instructor, Kenn rose to the position of National Director of Faculty and Course Development where he was responsible for all course content in all areas of the CPA exam as well as assuring the quality of all 350 instructors in 180 locations in the U.S.A.

Kenn has taught all areas of accounting at all levels at several top colleges and universities.  He taught in the Executive MBA programs at Rutgers University and Stevens Institute of Technologies as well as being an Executive in Residence at Seton Hall University.  At Seton Hall, he was the students’ choice as Outstanding Educator two years in a row.  Kenn’s interest in accounting curriculum that is relevant to perspective employers has gained him the recognition as an expert in teaching what students will use in their professional careers.

Kenn is one of the foremost lecturers in all areas encountered by accounting and financing professionals.  For over 25 years he has lead discussions for both large and small groups.  His practical approach to the subject matter and broad knowledge in all areas of accountancy has made him one of the most sought-after instructors in the industry.  Kenn combines detailed technical subjects, with relevant examples, and humor in a seminar environment that encourages participant discussion.  As Kenn often says, “I learn something in every seminar I present from the discussions in the room. What I learn, I bring to the next seminar I present”.

Kenn is long-time active member of the New Jersey Society of CPAs where he has served as State Vice President, Trustee, Chapter President, Committee Chair, and Task Force Chair.  He currently is active with the Professional Conduct Committee and the Accounting Educators, State Taxation, Federal Taxation, Student Programing, Non-Profit, and Government Interest Groups.  He is a frequent speaker at the group meetings, serving as a source of current and updated information.
